Deputy head girl makes her mark
ST Christopher’s deputy head girl Elisabeth Bancroft was the highest scoring student at the school with 9s in English language and literature and maths, seven A*s and one A.
She will now study at St Christopher’s Sixth Form with a view to studying medicine at university.
She said: “I am really happy as my grades are way better than I thought I would achieve and I am looking forward to staying with teachers that I know well.”
Head boy Robert Bryce achieved 100 per cent on all three science papers in chemistry, physics and biology.
He also scored a 9 in English language, a 7 in English literature, an 8 in maths, five A*s, an A and a B. He will also head to St Christopher’s Sixth Form with a view to studying neurosurgery at university.
Robert said: “I am so pleased. The teachers have been tremendous and I have had a fabulous year as Head Boy and in my studies.
“I am looking forward to achieving just as well in the Sixth Form.”
Abigail Draisey scored 7s in English language and literature and maths, four A*s, an A and a B.
She said: “I worked really hard and it was a great feeling to open my envelope and see my results.”
She hopes to become a teacher after studying A-Levels at St Christo- pher’s Sixth Form.
Madeleine Waite achieved a 9 in maths, 8 in English language, a 7 in English literature and six A*s.
She said: “I am really happy. I am so excited to start A-Levels here at St Christopher’s because of the amazing friendly atmosphere.”
Jessica Farmer was delighted with her results, which included a 9 in English language, 8 in English literature, 7 in maths, an A*, five As and a B.
She said: “In my head I was worried that I had done badly so I was very anxious to get the envelope opened and was so happy with my results. I can’t wait to start in the Sixth Form.”
