OSWALDTWISTLE CIVIC ARTS
AFTER five busy weeks of summer schools, we are now preparing for a quiet week of preparations before going back into full swing for September.
We are jam packed with shows all month so I have selected just a few to tell you about.
We start off the month with a lovely play by Raymond Briggs, When The Wind Blows on Friday. September 1.
This is a free performance as a thank you to our audiences (but tickets must be booked).
It is followed by The Dreamboys on Thursday, September 7, Navi – The Fantastic Michael Jackson Tribute (back due to popular demand) on Friday, September 29 and The Amazing 10cc’s Graham Gouldman will be performing his acoustic set ‘A heart full of songs’ on Saturday, September 30.
We also have a full three-course dinner available before the show, which is pre-bookable.
We also have the return of Manford’s Comedy Club which will re launch on Saturday, September 16 with a fabulous line-up of four, including top comedians Colin Manford and Sam Avery.
Our staff are also very busy preparing a range of brand new sessions in September, including messy play for babies, reading, sewing, languages and creative writing.
All the new sessions will run in line with our current programme, which includes everything from dance and drama to fitness and play readings.
You can find full listings of all the current sessions and events on our website at civicartscentre.co.uk and if you call in to the centre you can pick up a guide.
Please call us on 01254 398319 if you would like further information or to book tickets.
