Reds stars pop in to make kids summer!

OVER the summer, four members of the Accrington Stanley first team squad made a surprise visit to Accrington Stanley Community Trust’s summer holiday clubs.

Goalkeeper Simon Bloch Jorgensen, defender Janoi Donacien and midfielder­s Liam Nolan and Mekhi McLeod took time out to meet the children, answer questions, sign some autographs and have a few pictures.

The Community Trust Head of Sport Lee Walsh explained: “The children were excited all day once we had told them some of the players were coming to visit.

“Many of the children had been thinking of good questions to ask the players and they were really pleased to be given posters for the players to sign!”

The visit was part of an ongoing effort to engage with members of the community especially young children who will hopefully Accrington Stanley supporters of the future.
