ORDAN Clark’s late goal earned Accrington Stanley their first away win of the season, in a 2-1 derby victory over ten-man Morecambe.

Billy Kee’s wonder strike followed by Clark’s close-range effort from Kayden Jackson’s cross was enough to push Stanley to third place in the League Two table, with a Kevin Ellison header in the dying embers of the match resulting in nothing more than a consolation for the Shrimps, after they went to ten men in the second half following Vadaine Oliver’s poorly timed sliding tackle on Kee.

Then, inside eight min- utes, Stanley’s new keeper on loan from Sunderland, Max Stryjek, had only a brief debut, going down after a collision in the box and had to be replaced by Tom Chapman.

The visitors found the opening goal of the game inside 31 minutes, as Kee picked the ball up in space from around 25 yards out, before striking a brilliantly taken low shot that buried itself in the bottom right of Roche’s net.

Just before halftime, Stanley almost made it two when debutant Farrend Rawson headed Sean McConville’s corner against the base of the post.

Inside 57 minutes, the home side had a man sent off when Oliver mistimed a tackle on Kee just
