OSWALDTWISTLE CIVIC ARTS CENTRE

- EMMA HOLDEN

HALLOWEEN is one of our busiest and most exciting times at the Civic – second only to the Panto season, which is just around the corner too.

We got lots of events this Halloween so there really is something for everyone.

On Friday, October 27, and Saturday, October 28, at 7.30pm, the young people of Dramatic Annie will be bringing A Nightmare Before Christmas to the stage. Tickets cost £7 for adults and £5 for children.

Meet ‘n’ Match will also be hosting their monthly event night for adults with learning disabilities on Friday, October 27, which will, of course, have a Halloween theme.

Tickets cost £5, with carers free.

During half-term we will be running a Halloween Holiday Club suitable for children aged four to 16.

Children attend every day from 9am-4pm and take part in lots of fun activities including storytelling, trick or treating and the film club.

The week will end with a fancy-dress party on the Friday afternoon.

Spaces are limited and cost £45 per child – booking for this event is essential.

On Sunday, October 29, from 4pm-6pm we will host a Halloween Party for young children at Hippings Vale Community Centre.

Join in the disco and party games and enter the fancy-dress competition. Tickets cost £4.50 per child and £2 for adults.

Then on Tuesday, October 31, there will be a Halloween Party and Storytime at the Civic from 6pm-8pm.

The event includes an hour-long party and then a short performance. Tickets cost £6.50 per child and £3 for adults and is suitable for children aged six to 12.

Tickets for all our events can be bought via our website at civicartscentre.co.uk, in person at the box office, or over the phone on 01254 398319.
