HALLOWEEN is one of our busiest and most ex­cit­ing times at the Civic – sec­ond only to the Panto sea­son, which is just around the cor­ner too.

We got lots of events this Halloween so there re­ally is some­thing for ev­ery­one.

On Friday, October 27, and Satur­day, October 28, at 7.30pm, the young peo­ple of Dra­matic An­nie will be bring­ing A Night­mare Be­fore Christ­mas to the stage. Tick­ets cost £7 for adults and £5 for chil­dren.

Meet ‘n’ Match will also be host­ing their monthly event night for adults with learn­ing dis­abil­i­ties on Friday, October 27, which will, of course, have a Halloween theme.

Tick­ets cost £5, with car­ers free.

Dur­ing half-term we will be run­ning a Halloween Hol­i­day Club suit­able for chil­dren aged four to 16.

Chil­dren at­tend ev­ery day from 9am-4pm and take part in lots of fun ac­tiv­i­ties in­clud­ing sto­ry­telling, trick or treat­ing and the film club.

The week will end with a fancy-dress party on the Friday af­ter­noon.

Spa­ces are lim­ited and cost £45 per child – book­ing for this event is es­sen­tial.

On Sun­day, October 29, from 4pm-6pm we will host a Halloween Party for young chil­dren at Hip­pings Vale Community Cen­tre.

Join in the disco and party games and en­ter the fancy-dress com­pe­ti­tion. Tick­ets cost £4.50 per child and £2 for adults.

Then on Tues­day, October 31, there will be a Halloween Party and Sto­ry­time at the Civic from 6pm-8pm.

The event in­cludes an hour-long party and then a short per­for­mance. Tick­ets cost £6.50 per child and £3 for adults and is suit­able for chil­dren aged six to 12.
