GREAT HARWOOD MOTHERS’ CLUB

-

THE speaker at the monthly meeting on Wednesday, October 18, in Bankmill House was Lisa Moore.

It was a talk and workshop on the art of needle felting.

She brought along equipment for members to have a try. What a fun night. None of the members had tried this form of art work before and it proved a fun evening with lots of laughter. At the end of the meeting all members had completed a bauble to hang on their Christmas tree, although some had damaged fingers where the needle had stabbed them instead of the sheep’s wool.

The evening ended with tea and cakes provided by members of the committee.

The club now meets on the third Wednesday of each month in Bankmill House, and new members are always welcome.
