GLYN JONES

MR Glyn Jones, of Southwood Drive, Baxenden, died at his home on Thursday, October 26, aged 73.

He leaves his wife Nora, daughter Amanda and son David, grandson Mathew, sisters Betty and Jean and their loved ones.

He was a member of Masonic Lodge 42 Bury, Manor Lodge 3322 and Sincerity Chapter 3120. He was originally from Little Lever, Bolton.

He was a joiner by profession and worked for Hyndburn Borough Council training joinery and gardening.

He retrained as a teacher, and taught maths, English and Dance at Accrington and Rossendale College and retired from Whewells DIY, Accrington.

The funeral service, officiated by Rev Tom Donaghy, will be held on Monday, November 6 with service and cremation at Accrington Crematorium at 11.40am.
