MARIAN CARTER

MARIAN Carter, of Woodside Home for the Elderly and formerly of Rawnsley, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 26, aged 95.

She was a cotton spinner at Vine Mill, Oswaldtwistle and Wills Fabrics, Mill Street, Oswaldtwistle.

She loved to travel and had visited Tangier, Venice, Mallorca, Gibraltar, Bulgaria, Holland, Turkey and Italy (just to name a few places).

She leaves her sisters Elsie and Nelly, niece Marian and step-sons Derrick, Gary and Keith.

Her funeral service, conducted by the Rev Martin Joss, will be held on Tuesday, November 7, at 10.20am, at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road.

Family flowers only with donations, if desired, to Macmillan Nurses or the British Heart Foundation.
