WELL, the weather may be cold, wet and windy but you can be assured of a warm welcome at Haworth Art Gallery.

Remember, we are open Tuesday to Sunday from noon and if you arrive early, the Gallery Kitchen is open from 11am for morning tea, coffee and breakfast, as well as through the rest of the afternoon.

There are also details of free taster workshops with the Stables Studios Artists – please contact the gallery to book a place.

The first live music gig is on Sunday, January 21, featuring ‘The Rantin’ Lads’ to chase away those January blues. The Ranting Lads are a collective of musicians from around Clayton-le-Moors, Lancashire. They play a variety of music styles from lively Irish folk, jigs and reels, country classics and a bit of rock ‘n’ roll thrown in.

No booking required but please be early to secure your seat. This is a free concert and any donations made will go directly to the performers. Refreshmen­ts will be available from the Gallery Kitchen bar.

The gallery is open from noon to 4.45pm Tuesday to Friday and noon to 4.15pm Saturday, Sunday. Free entrance and parking.
