MY Funny Valentine comes to Accrington ON Sunday, February 11, join Bill Holmes (vocals) and Tim Mottershead (piano) at 2pm for My Funny Valentine, an afternoon devoted to love songs from the ‘Golden Age’, as popularised by Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole and others.

Expect velvety vocals, sparkling piano playing, and a relaxed, mellow, atmosphere as Tim and Bill take you on a journey through some of the best songs ever written, including classics such as; When I Fall in Love; We Have All the Time in the World; Every Time We say Goodbye; For Once in my Life; The Very Thought of You; Let there be Love; and Something, described by Frank Sinatra as “the greatest love song ever written”.

Tim has been a professional pianist and composer since 1987. He has performed with many other people over the years, and began to work with Bill Holmes in 2014 – with whom he performs a wide range of easy-listening vocal material from The Great American Songbook and beyond.

The Gallery Kitchen will be open throughout these events and refreshments may be taken into the Music ‘Cabaret’ Room.

Please note, the musicians who play these concerts are not paid by the gallery, therefore any donations made by the audience are gratefully received.
