Gulliver’s ticket bonus for course kids

-

ACCRINGTON Stanley Community Trust have teamed up with Gulliver’s this week to give the children attending their half-term holiday course a free ticket treat!

Both the Soccer School and Activity Club participants received a free child’s ticket to attend any of the three Gulliver’s theme parks based in Warrington, Milton Keynes and Matlock Bath for their efforts in taking part this week.

The Activity Club aims to engage children aged four to 12 years in structured, fun based holiday activities. The Soccer School is an organised holiday football coaching club for 4 to 12 year olds.

At the end of the week, Friday 16th February, club coaches Elle Kayley and Matt Parkinson pick a runner up and winner from each of the two clubs to present with certificates, trophies and the prize of a Gulliver’s trip FREE for one adult and one child.

This half-term holiday winners for the Activity Club were Olivia Hartley, with Ben Hall being runner-up. Louie Barrow took home first place for the Soccer School with friend, Joshua Hartley coming in second place.

Elle Kayley, Female Football Development Officer, said: “It’s fantastic for kids to come down and, not only get involved in sports, but also learn new skills and make new friends. We’re thankful to Gulliver’s for providing these rewards for the children as it gives them some encouragement to behave and to try their best with the activities they take part in throughout the week. We’re proud of the holiday courses we offer at the Trust and often find that the same children come back time and time again which is testament to the hard work we do really.”

Julie Dalton, Managing Director at Gulliver’s Theme Parks, said: “A huge part of Gulliver’s ethos is to try and get children up and active so we take great pleasure in giving the tickets to community sports clubs as a means to encourage children to get involved.”
