from Accrington’s St Christopher’s CE High School will take to the stage for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

The young musicians are on the bill of Rosemere’s annual spring concert, which is set to take place at 7.30pm on Thursday, April 19, at Blackburn Cathedral.

Headlining the show for the second year in succession will be classical cross-over vocalist Linda Tolchard.

Also performing will be the BAE Systems Workplace Choir and Blackburn People’s Choir, while the compère for the evening will be regular host John Gilmore, from BBC Radio Lancashire.

There will be a raffle during the event and a retiring collection at the end of the show.

All money raised will go directly to help fund Rosemere Cancer Foundation projects to bring cancer services and treatments to patients living throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria being treated at Rosemere Cancer Centre’s specialist treatment centres at nine hospitals across the two counties.

Tickets for the concert are free but numbers are limited so they must be reserved in advance by calling 01772 522913 or emailing info@rosemere.org. uk.
