WINIFRED Mar­garet Bell died on Sun­day, June 24 at her home, aged 80.

Freda, as she was known, was born on July 9, 1937, in Black­pool to Fred­er­ick and Alice Hib­bins.

Freda will be re­mem­bered as a lov­ing and car­ing wife, mother, grand­mother, aunty and friend.

She had the abil­ity to reach peo­ple in a pos­i­tive way.

She was bap­tised as one of Je­ho­vah’s Wit­nesses in 1962 and served her God Je­ho­vah faith­fully all her life, en­deav­our­ing to help oth­ers get to know the God that she loved.

Freda is sur­vived by her beloved hus­band of 60 years Der­ick, daugh­ter Karen, son Lee, grand­chil­dren, great-grand­chil­dren, nieces and neph­ews.

Der­ick and fam­ily would like to thank the Macmil­lan nurses, dis­trict nurses and In­ten­sive Home Sup­port Ser­vice for the care they gave to Freda.

Freda firmly be­lieved in the prom­ise recorded in the Bi­ble at John 5:28,29.

Freda Bell has gone away, but she’ll be back again one day, that’s a prom­ise made and true, by the one who died for me and you.

Freda’s funeral ser­vices were held on Wed­nes­day, July 4, at 12.20pm at Ac­cring­ton Cre­ma­to­rium, fol­lowed by a me­mo­rial talk at the King­dom Hall of Je­ho­vah’s Wit­nesses, Fair­field Street, Ac­cring­ton.

Do­na­tions are be­ing re­ceived in me­mory of Freda on be­half of King­dom Hall and World Wide Work of Je­ho­vah’s Wit­nesses via the funeral direc­tor Champ Funeral Ser­vices, Bank House, Whal­ley Road, Clay­ton-le-Moors, Ac­cring­ton.
