WINIFRED BELL

-

WINIFRED Margaret Bell died on Sunday, June 24 at her home, aged 80.

Freda, as she was known, was born on July 9, 1937, in Blackpool to Frederick and Alice Hibbins.

Freda will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, aunty and friend.

She had the ability to reach people in a positive way.

She was baptised as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1962 and served her God Jehovah faithfully all her life, endeavouring to help others get to know the God that she loved.

Freda is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years Derick, daughter Karen, son Lee, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Derick and family would like to thank the Macmillan nurses, district nurses and Intensive Home Support Service for the care they gave to Freda.

Freda firmly believed in the promise recorded in the Bible at John 5:28,29.

Freda Bell has gone away, but she’ll be back again one day, that’s a promise made and true, by the one who died for me and you.

Freda’s funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 4, at 12.20pm at Accrington Crematorium, followed by a memorial talk at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Fairfield Street, Accrington.

Donations are being received in memory of Freda on behalf of Kingdom Hall and World Wide Work of Jehovah’s Witnesses via the funeral director Champ Funeral Services, Bank House, Whalley Road, Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington.
