JOHN ROWLEY

MR John Patrick Rowley, of Woodside House, Winterley Drive, Huncoat, died suddenly but peacefully, at Royal Blackburn Hospital, on Wednesday, August 1, aged 79.

John worked as a domestic cleaner.

He loved to watch cowboy films and would sing all the songs from them.

He also liked day trips to Blackpool with his friends, going fishing and feeding the ducks.

John was a beloved son of the late Jack and Bridget Rowley, loved brother of Oliver and the late Margaret, Sarah and Angela, a much loved uncle and great-uncle, and a good friend to everyone at Woodside House.

The funeral service, conducted by Father Stamp, will be held on Tuesday, August 14, at 3pm, at Accrington Crematorium and will be followed by a cremation.

Family flowers only with donations to Alzheimer’s Society.
