Exhibition now open to entries

HAWORTH Annual Open Exhibition will be taking place from September 29, and entries for this competition can be taken into the gallery from September 4-9 between 12 noon and 4pm.
There is no theme and all art forms are welcome, from painting to sculpture, prints and installations. Information and application forms can be downloaded from the gallery Facebook page or you can contact the gallery on 01254 233782 to request one sent to you via email.
Forms can also be collected in person from the gallery itself during normal opening hours.
Artists who are selected for the Annual Open are then eligible for the spring ‘Open Focus’ and the Bell Corridor exhibitions.
Back by popular demand, The Wildflowers will be playing at the gallery on Sunday, August 19, from 2pm to 3pm.
They will be performing classic pop songs from Fleetwood Mac to David Bowie combining outstanding vocals and harmonies accompanied by skilful musicianship.
This is a free concert and all donations go direct to the performers.
We ask that people arrive early to secure a seat.
Drinks and refreshments maybe purchased from the Gallery Kitchen Bar.
The gallery is open Tuesday to Friday 12 noon to 4.45pm, Saturday, Sunday 12 noon to 4.15pm, closed all day Monday, free entrance and parking.
