Coley’s spoilt for choice

-

JOHN Coleman is having to leave some top players out of his matchday squad, such is the strength in depth at Stanley.

Speaking to the club’s official website after Saturday’s 2-1 win against AFC Wimbledon, Coleman said: “We have a very good squad, we are leaving very good players out. Ben Richards-Everton didn’t get on the bench and what has Ben done wrong? Nothing! That’s how strong we are at the moment and we have got to use wisely what we have at our disposal.

“Hopefully we are starting to build a bit of momentum. I don’t go on about unbeaten runs, I am more concerned about wins because wins propel you up the league. We have just got to keep our heads down and hopefully we can climb the table.”

Meanwhile, the Stanley Commercial Team has announced the return of the Stanley Redz Bar FanZone Marquee for the Bradford City game on 13th October, which will remain in place until the conclusion of the Christmas fixtures.

Local bands and artists will play in the Marquee FanZone from 12:30pm-2.30pm and 5.15pm-7pm on the following matchdays: Bradford City, Portsmouth, Barnsley, Sunderland, Shrewsbury Town and Peterborough United.

The Marquee FanZone will open from 12pm until 7pm with a bar and burger van. The marquee will also be heated during opening times.

Happy Hours and Winners Hour will also be available within the Redz Bar Marquee.

Happy Hour (12 noon – 2.00pm and 1-hour post-match) – £2.00 per pint

Winners Hour (1-hour post-match) – £1.00 per pint.
