BARBARA HANDLEY

-

BARBARA Jean Handley, of Clayton-leMoors, died on Sunday, June 23, peacefully in hospital, aged 70.

The dearly loved wife of Alan, she was much loved and devoted mum of Gillian and Gemma, dear mother-in-law of Mark and Fraser, doting nanna of Honey, Harry, Lily, Ben and Jess, loving sister of Pat and brother-in-law Ray and dear auntie of Lisa and family.

Barbara began her working life in advertising at the Lancashire Evening Telegraph before moving into accounts at Berg Manufacturers and then to CW Advertising where she worked her way up to financial controller and worked for 24 years up until her retirement.

Barbara loved her holidays and travelled all over the world.

Always on the go, she was fond of a spontaneous day out and loved her visits to Essex to see Gemma.

Barbara was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed.
