MR Christophe­r Haslope, of Thirsk Grove, Blackpool, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 28, aged 52.

Known to his family and friends as Brent, on leaving school he started working at a local butchers and also studied at Blackpool College, where he achieved the Master Butcher award. He then started a joint business called BK ProClean.

He then moved to Blackpool where he worked as an addiction worker for Horizon Health Support, he later became a manager at Ocean Recovery before presently working for the Meat and Livestock Commission, at Bamber Bridge as a meat inspector.

In his spare time he enjoyed watching football and listening to music.

A loving son of the late Kath and Keith, he was a beautiful brother of Vickie and Glen, brother-in-law of Barry and Mandy, father of Matthew, a fun loving uncle of Alice, Freddie, Shamus and Courtney, a loving partner of Liz, a caring and respected nephew of Chris, Barry, Terry, Alec and the late Pat, Keith and Bernie, also a wonderful cousin of Gina, Mandy, Michael, Kieran and families and a good friend to many.

A celebratio­n of life service will be held at

3pm on Friday, December 13 at Accrington Crematoriu­m. Family flowers only please, donations are welcome in memory of Brent for JFH (Jobs Friends Houses) – Next Step Recovery Community, Blackpool c/o funeral director Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136-8 Union
