MRS Sheila Beech, of Bamford Crescent, Accrington, died on Tuesday, January 7, aged 55.

Sheila attended Bolton-by-Bowland Primary School and then went onto Riversmead School in Grindleton.

From there she started at Barkers Primrose Nurseries in Clitheroe, where she worked for 15 years.

She went onto various jobs including teaching assistant at St John’s School, Baxenden, and as a service provider at Lord’s House Farm and

Bootstrap. Finally, Sheila ending up doing her dream job running the Garden Centre at Oswaldtwis­tle Mills.

She enjoyed various crafts, baking, sewing, knitting and generally being with friends and family on days out and, of course, gardening.

She leaves a loving and devoted husband and daughter Graham and Victoria, together with her father and mother Robin and Joan, along with sister Ruth.

The funeral service and committal will take place at 2.20pm on Thursday, January 23, at Accrington Crematoriu­m, officiated by Rev’d Tom Donaghey.

Family flowers only, however donations if desired in memory of Sheila to North West Air Ambulance c/o funeral director Hyndburn Funeral Services, Queens Road, Accrington.

MRS Irene Theresa Best, of Oswaldtwis­tle, died peacefully at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Tuesday, January 7, aged 82.

She was a housewife and mother and loved to spend time with her family.

She was sanctified with the last rights of the Roman Catholic Church.

May you rest in peace until we meet again.

Wife of faithful husband Robert, she leaves beloved daughter Donna, son-in-law Chris, and was a cherished nan to Daniel, Fiona and Aiden and a loving great-nan to Joseph, Oliver, Leon and Faith and nan-in-law to Nicola.

She will be sadly missed by her dear friends and family in Belfast.

A funeral service will be held at 10.30am on Wednesday, January 29, at St Mary’s RC Church, Langho, administer­ed by Father Leo Heakin, followed by cremation at Pleasingto­n

Crematoriu­m at

12.15pm.
