CASES heard at Blackburn Magistrates Court:
RYAN Joseph Begley, 29, of St James Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. He was fined £40.
MICHAEL Andrew Crilly, 35, of Thwaites Road, Oswaldtwistle, pleaded guilty to shoplifting. He was ordered to pay £52.50 compensation.
SIMON Andrew Staines, 35, of St John Court, Accrington, pleaded guilty to sending a grossly offensive, indecent, abusive or menacing message by means of a public electronic communications network.
He was given a 12-month community order with a 25-day rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £50 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
SCOTT Melia, 37, of Tampits Road, Accrington, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs.
JAMIE Lee Preston, 30, of Thirlmere Close, Huncoat, pleaded guilty to using a motor vehicle without insurance and drink driving. He was fined £303, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 16 months, reduced by 16 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
CHRISTOPHER John Landon, 31, of Sherwood Way, Accrington, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place and resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty. He was fined £300 and ordered to pay £50 compensation and £85 costs.
CASES heard at Burnley Magistrates Court:
ANTHONY James Maughan, 21, of Slaidburn Drive, Accrington, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs.
QAISAR Ahmed, 31, of Arncliffe Avenue, Accrington, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis as part of an investigation. He was fined £120, ordered to pay £150 costs and disqualified from driving for six months.
MARK Elliot, 55, of Infirmary Street, Blackburn, was found guilty of using a vehicle without insurance in Great Harwood. He was fined £120, ordered to pay £100 costs and given six points on his driving licence.
