CASES heard at Blackburn Magistrate­s Court:

ALERIC George McKee AKA Barton, 25, of Winterson Street, Accrington. Admitted breach of failing without reasonable excuse to comply with supervisio­n requiremen­ts. He was dealt with for the original offence and a supervisio­n default order was made with curfew requiremen­t until February 20, 2020.

BEN Tregartha, 18, of Empress Street, Accrington. Pleaded guilty to using racially aggravated threatenin­g, abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour with the intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Cardiff on

May 17, 2019. He was discharged conditiona­lly for 18 months, and ordered to pay £50 costs.

DANIEL Stewart, 23, of Barnes Street, Accrington. Pleaded guilty to failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requiremen­ts of a community order. His order was varied and he was given a three-day rehabilita­tion activity requiremen­t with original requiremen­ts to continue, and ordered to pay £60 costs.

JACK Birtwistle, 24, of Blackburn Road, Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington. Pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of ketamine and cocaine in Accrington on August

23, 2019. He was fined £200, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualifi­ed from driving for 18 months.

MUDASSER Iqbal, 33, of Kingston Avenue, Accrington. Pleaded guilty to resisting a constable in the execution of his duty on January 11. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £20 costs.

LEE Paul Brown, 43, of Whalley Road, Claytonle-Moors, Accrington. Pleaded guilty to stealing seven jars of coffee worth £28 from Aldi. He was discharged conditiona­lly for 12 months and ordered to pay £28 compensati­on.

RYAN Leech, 29, of Bridgefiel­d Close, Rishton, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis as part of an investigat­ion. He was jailed for eight weeks and disqualifi­ed from driving for 48 months.

MARTIN Sean McAllister, 35, of Hanson Street, Great Harwood, pleaded guilty to two counts of shopliftin­g. He was given a 12-month community order with 120 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £60 compensati­on.

MATTHEW Arthur Clegg, 34, of Beech

Close, Rishton, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualifi­ed. He was given six points on his driving licence.

SHAMUS Liaquat, 29, of Lois Place, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Accrington. He was fined £150, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualifi­ed from driving for 12 months.

KATY Hawkins, 37, of Brentwood Road, Nelson, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in The Globe Centre Foyer in Accrington. She was given a 12-month conditiona­l discharge and must pay £40 costs.

CASES heard at Burnley Magistrate­s Court:

SHEENA Marie Stevenson, 53, of Nuttall Street, Accrington. Pleaded guilty to stealing £10 on July 25, 2019. She was fined £359, ordered to pay £50 compensati­on and £150 costs.

MATTHEW Mark Walduck, 32, of Company Street, Rishton, pleaded guilty to two counts of driving while disqualifi­ed, using a vehicle without insurance and theft. He was given a 12-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months with a supervisio­n requiremen­t, a 12-week curfew requiremen­t, ordered to pay £170 costs and disqualifi­ed from driving for 12 months.
