WHAT you’ve been saying on our Facebook page:

● LANCASHIRE to be placed in Tier 2 (October 12): Mickii Edwards:

Absolutely the worst possible outcome for bars and pubs, especially with the new restrictions. They will be empty with no support or grant so why is it good news? This will finish off a few places now Shirley Anne Howard: Great, one less thing to be worried about. Back in business at Space2Make where pottery painting goes hand in hand with coffee and cake! Food establishments with table service can remain open

● ...BUT the Government expects parts of the county to enter Tier 3 soon (October 13):

Lorraine Street: We want to continue working, regardless of financial support, the backlog of work is too much.

John Holden: So Hyndburn has a higher infection rate than London, I think someone is telling cooking the figures don’t you!

● BEST Destinations boss speaks of holiday chaos frustration (October 9):

Linzay Roberts: We were one of the lucky ones that managed to get a holiday in August.

We booked with Best Destinations, I couldn’t recommend them enough, nothing was to much trouble, couldn’t help us enough thank you so much x

Emma Haworth: Keep your chin up cocker! Travel is going to return.

Becky Wolfenden: Aww such a shame.

Be glad when all this is over x

Danny Heaton Holden: Chin up John, I’m sure when all of this is over it will be booming

Stacy Whittaker: Good luck Jon and Emma Haworth x

● EVER-SMILING Chloe Mullan, six, rings the bell on cancer (October 9):

Jodi Clements: Wonderful news. What a brave little lady!

Bernie Skellern: Absolutely fantastic news. Well done sweetheart x Mickii Edwards: Wonderful family, one amazing little girl!

Vic Rhodes: Brilliant sweetheart! Congratulations Chloe Kimberley Whitehead: Well done Chloe

Doreen Walker: Well done Chloe x

Marc Wyatt: That’s brilliant news well done little girl Sadie Donnelly: God bless you

Lynne Gowlett: Well done Chloe fantastic news

Renee Jackson: God bless you brilliant news

● NEW lockdown rules could last until April (October 9):

Karen Allan: This is literally going to be catastrophic if this is correct and runs until April.

There will be nothing left. We will see what happens on Monday.

Robyn Duckworth: I don’t think I can mentally cope living like this for another 6 months +.

Ashley Brooks: Hit The North.

Craig Miller: Kiss goodbye to your rights

● MUM hit with £200 bill from police after thugs smash up house (October 9):

Michael Larner: A huge chunk of my council tax goes to the police.

If they got these little thugs off the streets people wouldn’t need to fork out £200, and god knows what for the repairs to their cars.

They were out and about with hammers!

Juster Webstin: She has agreed to the police calling a company out, it’s not done without her permission.

Very divisive story. Corinne Brazier: What’s wrong with some youths these days.

We had a firework thrown at our front door last night

Nicky Baxendale: They should be charging the people that has done the damage

Tim Harrison: For someone to come out at 11.30pm within 30 minutes of being called and then supply, fit and secure the window board.

£200 is not bad at all. It’s a great service considering she didn’t have to do anything with the police organising it.

● HIGHFIELD Services director Alan Wilkinson nominates top team for unsung hero award (October 9):

June Leeming: Well done folks

Pat Howcroft Mayor: Well done all Highfield staff x Robert Swann: Lovely photo Cath
