MR Henry Norman Rhodes, of Plantation Road, Accrington, passed away suddenly but peacefully on Sunday, November 1, aged 86.

During his working life Henry worked as a projection­ist engineer, as a foreman at Pollard Bearings and also as a joiner at Blackburn Corporatio­n.

In his spare time and during his retirement Henry enjoyed meeting up with friends to have a natter over a pint, as well as playing darts and dominoes down at his local pub, the Railway in Huncoat.

His other favourite thing was spending time with his loving family, and taking his wife Brenda and daughter Kimberley away on family holidays each year, especially to Puerto Rico and Gran Canaria.

A dearly loved husband of Brenda, a much loved father of Kimberley, Geoff and the late Martin, a dear father-in-law of Andrew, a treasured grandad of

Ollie, Lewis, Janine, Debbie, Paige and Brandon, also a dear brother of Brian, Hilt, Pauline and the late Ted, John, Ann and Pat.

Henry will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.

A private funeral service will be held for immediate family and close friends only, due to the current restrictio­ns.

No flowers please, but donations are being gratefully received in memory of Henry for the British Heart Foundation or the Headway Brain Injury charity.
