BEDSIT plans for disused Accrington pub set to be rejected. Hyndburn Council have recommended the scheme for 13 bedsit flats at the former Britannia in Nuttall Street be refused planning permission (page 16):

Under new government plans this application would bypass council planning and be most probably permitted. Hope this, and the new proposals get rejected! Jodi Clements People need affordable homes. Not a tiny room as there is nothing else available/affordable. Surely 4 nice flats would be better.

Such a system cannot work, due to the way in which the vaccine will roll out a vast majority of the population would be unfairly excluded due to the fact that the vaccine hasn’t been made available to them.
