Deal with it Morecambe, we’re bigger!

- FAN’S VIEW

magnificent ticking their fan base off, even in a division higher. We’re just much better than you Morecambe, get over it.

Phillips, and David Morgan from

Southport, will hopefully be players that can bolster a midfield with Butcher and Conneely, freeing up Sean McConville to take up his role as a winger. This gives the selection committee an even greater headache, because we then have Pritchard, Uwakwe, Rodgers and even Nottingham (when Sykes is back) that could play in that other winger role. That’s at least 5 players battling it out for 2 positions on the pitch, when else when watching our club could you have said that? I’ll answer that for you: never. What a time to be alive.

Tuesday night against Bristol was a superb effort from everyone in the club, on and off the field. To get the game on in the first place, incredible after 2 inches of snow and a monsoon. I’m glad they did. Special mentions to Bishop and Charles, the confidence oozing from them is just glorious and they shone magnificently in the pouring down rain. I only left 60 words for a comment on this game, didn’t expect it to be 6:1. But, it’s late and that’s all you’re getting, sorry.

No rest for the wicked and we have 7 more matches to play this month alone. How are we going to fit those in? I don’t think we will but it should be quite exciting seeing us do it. I’m expecting more injuries, more suspensions and drama that would rival Coronation Street on Christmas Day, or even on one of those straight to DVD things they sometimes do with key characters.

I’ve never seen one of those, I just imagine they’re quite dramatic. two more winnable home games coming our way before we next speak, starting with Northampton this weekend. Strap in. Enjoy.
