LEE DERBYSHIRE

-

MR Lee Derbyshire, of Spinning Mill Close, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully but unexpectedly in hospital on Tuesday, February 9, aged 47.

During his life, Lee worked for various companies including ATS as a tyre fitter for 15 years, and also for Senator in Altham as an assembler.

Lee was a devoted family man and loved spending time at home; he loved playing football in the back garden, watching war films and the history channel on TV, as well as his favourite football team, Everton, of which he was part of the Everton Facebook Fan Club.

He also loved spending time with his pet dog Tink, before she sadly passed away.

He also greatly enjoyed going to Florida, going for meals out with his family, and playing golf.

Lee was a much loved son of Les and Doreen, a dearly loved husband of Wendy, a treasured dad of Beth and Caitlin and a dear brother of Neil, brother-in-law of Louise, and uncle to Ryan and Hannah.

He will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.

A private funeral service will be held for immediate family and close friends only, due to the current government restrictions.

Family flowers only please, but donations are being gratefully received in memory of Lee for the British Heart Foundation and can be made by phone, by post, or by envelope drop off at the funeral home (Accrington or Oswaldtwistle).

Funeral director: Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, Oswaldtwistle.
