Namibia eyes $1 billion in investments
Namibia has announced a new two-day economic summit that is anticipated to attract approximately $1 billion in investments over the coming two years, according to the country’s Ministry of Information and Communications Technology.
The conference, set to take place between July 31 and August 1 in Windhoek, the national capital, is geared towards reviving the Namibian economy in order to create job opportunities and bolster investment.
“The summit will provide a platform to showcase growth and investment prospects in the local economy as well as present local and international investors with a portfolio of investment projects in several sectors,” the ministry said, according to CNBC.
