Indoor Bowling Club

The club has opened for the new season and there is still time to enter a team. Nonbowlers or beginners who would like to give bowling a try can join; shoes and bowls provided free of charge. Cost to non-members is £2.25 per hour, and £1.50 for members. The Clifton Suite is available for all types of functions and events. The first public meeting of the Coatbridge Community Orchard takes place in the Charlotte Toal Centre, on Dundyvan Road, today. The local community will be operating the orchard and this will be an opportunity to get involved from the start. The winners of the poster competition that was held in Langloan and St Augustine’s primary schools will also be announced at the meeting.

Community Orchard Group invite

Coatbridge Baptist Church’s Parent and Toddlers Group is recruiting new parents and toddlers from the area to join its fun and friendly group. It runs every Monday (except school holidays) from 9.30am to 11.45am at the church, based on West Canal Street. The group provide a safe environment for parents to bring children aged from birth to three-years along to play with toys and interact with other parents and kids. Spiritualist church meetings

Angel of Love and Light Spiritualist Church meet every Monday in Coatbridge community centre, Old Monkland Road (in the grounds of St Andrew’s High School) at 7.30pm. New members are welcome to attend; contact Mary on 07436 273128 for more details.

Pied Piper playgroup

at the Charlotte Toal Centre on Dundyvan Road have places available for children aged two and over. Classes run on Tuesdays from 12.30pm to 2.30pm and Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.45am to 11.45am.
