This week’s planning applications for Monklands which have been submitted to North Lanarkshire Council are —

Abellio Scotrail: construction of replacement single-storey ticket office and associated works at Blairhill railway station, Blair Road, Coatbridge.

North Lanarkshire Council: erection of 14 cottage flats and associated parking, relocation and upgrade of access road, and construction of new car park at former Alexandra Primary School site, Cairnhill Road, Airdrie.

Bracewell Stirling Consulting: extension to neighbourhood centre incorporating retail; financial, professional & other services, food & drink and hot food takeaway (classes 1, 2, 3 and sui generis), and associated works at site at Lorne Place, Sikeside.

Oakridge Properties: demolition of farm buildings (in retrospect) and reinstatement and repair of doocot at Rochsoles Farm, Raebog Road, Glenmavis.

Sandy Colvan: alterations and extension to existing single-storey rear extension at 30 Calderview Avenue, Carnbroe.

Raymond Trower: change of use from derelict land to use as an allotment, with use of a portable shipping container for domestic storage and carpentry tools at site west of Souterhouse Road, Coatbridge.

Gary Collins: two dormer windows on rear elevation at 39 Sherwood Road, Glenboig.

Colin Morgan: erection of house and detached garage/storage shed at 68 Main Street, Longriggend.

Raymond Hooper: alterations to outbuilding to create retirement annexe at Quendale, Old Bore Road, Clarkston.

Elizabeth Brady: single-storey rear extension; at 3 Berwick Crescent, Cairnhill.

Sharon Harvey: erection of two-storey side extension with internal alterations at 19 Woodlands Drive, Drumpellier, Coatbridge.

Deborah Wilson: single-storey rear extension and two-metre timber boundary fence at 23 Clement Drive, Airdrie.

Roger Linden: erection of garage and driveway (part retrospect) at 63 Cardell Crescent, Chapelhall.

Kevin Sharpe: erection of single-storey side extension, demolition of existing rear extension and replacement front window; at 3 Dunbeth Avenue, Coatbridge.

S Collins & Sons Butchers: change of use of dwelling to shop with office, staff and storage space above and single-storey front and rear extension at 7 Lindsaybeg Road, Chryston.

David Mitchell: change of use from butcher’s storage unit to house at 9A Lindsaybeg Road, Chryston.

Persimmon Homes: amendment to wording of planning conditions to allow limited development in areas in excess of 100m from noise source at site west of 112 Station Road, Muirhead.

Daly International: replace three existing antennas on existing monopole, installation of equipment cabinet and minor ancillary apparatus at Woodend Farm, Coatbridge Road, Gartcosh.
