Breached his bail

- Court reporter

Sentence has been further deferred on a Shawhead teenager who placed others in a state of fear by behaving in an unsettling manner.

Lee MacDonald turned up at a property on William Street, near his Etive Court home, uninvited and began repeatedly banging on the window.

He then shouted and swore on numerous occasions before kicking doors and forcing open a window to enter the house without permission.

MacDonald began acting aggressively and the foultempered 18- year- old then smashed a phone and damaged a window blind.

His destructive actions took place on July 25 and MacDonald pleaded guilty at Airdrie Sheriff Court.

MacDonald made his way back into the dock earlier this month after a deferral for background reports and the court heard that he had also breached bail conditions on the day of the incident by contacting a woman.

P re s i d i n g sheriff, Frank Pieri, decided to adjourn proceedings until December 7 to allow for a risk assessment and criminal justice social work reports to be carried out.

That will be the same day MacDonald faces the music on another bail breach, where he was found in the company of a woman he was banned from contacting at High Coats, Coatbridge, on October 6 last year.

MacDonald owned up to the breach and Sheriff Pieri deferred sentencing to call alongside the other matters.
