Indoor bowling club

is running a bingo night this evening; tickets are still available. The club will also host a Christmas dance on Friday, December 16, with Max and Caroline. New club members, including nonbowlers or beginners, are welcome to join the club at any time during the season. Shoes and bowls are provided free of charge and the cost to non-members is £2.30 per hour. The Clifton Suite is available for all types of functions and events. Christmas fayre

hosted by Buchanan and St Ambrose high schools will take place on Tuesday in the schools’ shared campus, from 6pm to 8pm. Entry costs £1 for adults and 50p for children and attractions include gift stalls, raffles, bingo, hot and cold food, Santa and lots more.

Parent and toddler group

at Coatbridge Baptist Church is recruiting new members. It runs every Monday (except school holidays) from 9.30am to 11.45am at the church on West Canal Street. The group allows youngsters aged from birth to three years along to play with toys and interact with other children and parents, and those attending parents are asked to make a £1 weekly donation if possible. Spiritualist church meetings
