Mum-of-three Elaine a prime meat winner
Burns Night theme in our next fabulous competition
Congratulations to Coatbridge mum- of- three Elaine Penman who has won our latest Prime Cuts competition.
Elaine, who is also a gran of six, is pictured collecting her £40 of meat from butcher Scott Johnston of Fergusons.
The Kirkwood resident told the Advertiser: “I’m delighted to have won; Fergusons’ butcher meat is second to none and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming.”
Our next Prime Cuts competition is especially dedicated to the Bard and is sure to have the lucky winner waxing lyrical for weeks to come.
As households, community clubs and restaurants across Monklands prepare to tuck into their Burns suppers, the Advertiser has once again teamed up with the awardwinning Airdrie butchers who are wellversed in top notch products.
Our contest sees Fergusons serve up a tartan triumph of a prize – a hearty hamper filled with everything needed for the perfect Burns supper meal, including a delicious haggis made from a secret recipe that spans four generations.

Fergusons owner, Graeme Johnston, said: “The hamper has a large family-size haggis, which we’re proud to say won the prestigious two-star prize at the Great Taste Awards, tatties and neeps and a bottle of whisky for the winner to enjoy a wee dram.
“These are all the perfect ingredients for your Burns supper.
“We are also selling special Burns truffles and haggis pies with mashed potato and neeps, or a delicious chicken parcel, chicken fillet filled with haggis, perfect with our pepper sauce.”
