They’re all planning changes
This week’s planning applications for Monklands which have been submitted to North Lanarkshire Council for approval are as follows –
Muir Homes/ Doug Riddell Consultancy: construction of residential development (158 dwellings) including formation of new access; at 1 Garnqueen Farm, Main Street, Glenboig.
Modern Housing New Homes: substitution of house types on plots 38-41 and 64-69 (amendment to previous permission); at site south of Heatheryford Gardens, Plains.
Clyde Valley Housing Association: proposed partial demolition and facade retention of twostorey Grade C listed building and erection of three- storey hostel building comprising nine bedrooms and ancillary accommodation; at 9 Bank Street, Coatbridge.
Domino’s Pizza: alterations to subdivide existing property including change of use at Unit A to form Domino’s Pizza store (sui generis hot food takeaway and delivery); at 244 Whifflet Street, Whifflet.
Enhance Healthcare: single- storey laundry annexe in rear curtilage; at Deanston care home, 36 Lefroy Street, Blairhill.
Asda: two wall-mounted signs and three postmounted signs; at Asda, Main Street, Coatbridge.
Martin Graham: change of use of public open space to garden ground with fencing (in retrospect); at a site east of 5 Arnton Grove, Chapelhall.
Gary Wallace: singlestorey extension to front of existing house; at 168B Clark Street, Airdrie.
Mr & Mrs McIntyre: single-storey rear extension; at 20 Wilton St reet, Townhead.
Mary Hillen: formation of accessible entrance and ramp, and alteration to front window to form access door and window to ground-floor flat; at 24 Coulter Avenue, Gartsherrie.
