Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser

... And talking of plugging folks...

-

Keeping it funny, Glasgow’s International Comedy Festival is almost upon us and as usual I will be plying my trade at the venues of the country’s comedy capital, along with some very funny colleagues.

Coatbridge’s very own Susie McCabe is on top of her game at the moment and it’s worth a trip into town to see her in action.

Her humour and style are matched only by her writing skills and her show is a must-see!

I would also recommend a trip to Oran Mor to see the hilarious Phil Differ do his thing.

He has a unique take on life, Glasgow and its people, and I know Advertiser readers will enjoy him enormously.

The festival has some great venues this year, but my favourite is Yesbar.

It’s nice and intimate and really allows the comedians to engage with the audience.

It’s a bit like having someone performing in your living room, especially if your living room is packed with dining tables and chairs, so check out who’s on there.

My own show is at Liberte at Charing Cross on March 11 and is called FFS! It kicks off at 8.30pm, so if you’re in town or fancy a night out, why not come along and join me?
