Easter events for all the family

Monklands families can enjoy an action-packed and egg-static time this Easter.

CultureNL’s Let’s Go Easter programme will be providing a series of events in schools and libraries ranging from egg decorating to digital animation classes for kids.

Young superheroes fans can take part in Summerlee photomedia studio’s fantasy animation with Lego sessions.

And younger children can bounce along to bookbug sessions, or try out treasure hunts and craft classes.

Meanwhile, Summerlee museum of Scottish industrial life will again host its popular Easter eggstravaganza, running daily from 11am until 3pm.

Let’s Go Easter events feature lots of free activities, but some may involve a small charge.

Jillian Ferrie, chief executive of Culture NL, said: “Join us for a range of fun, spring-inspired crafts every weekday during the school holidays, with activities for children of all ages.”
