The youngsters show off their first-class winning essays The long arm of the law reached out to schoolkids from Plains and Caldercruix back in early 1984.
Creative pupils were more than all-write as the penned essays starting “If I was chief constable of Strathclyde Police...”in a competition organised by Plains and Caldercruix Police Project.
Andrew McEachan and William Linden from St Mary’s Primary, Graeme Walker and Glenda Barrett of Plains Primary, Lisa Ralston and David Eyre from St David’s Primary and Glengowan Primary pair Shona Hendrie and Andrew Clark wrote the winning essays.
