Cruise in Super showdown

Tom Cruise has put his body through the wringer on plenty of occasions but the mega star could be set for more bumps and bruises when he takes on Superman – sort of – in the sixth Mission: Impossible flick.

Man of Steel’s Henry Cavill (pictured, right) has signed on to play the villain in the next instalment of the franchise.

Jason Momoa’s Aquaman will have to spend a little longer underwater as he awaits his big screen solo bow with the news the release date of DC’s blockbuster has been delayed by two months; it’s now hitting cinemas on December 21 next year.
