The Tesco Bank Football Challenge is a five-year community programme run in partnership with the Scottish FA.

Steven Hamilton, Football Development Officer with North Lanarkshire Leisure, said:“This a brilliant initiative we’re proud to deliver in our local schools. We’re pleased to welcome the children to Ravenscraig Sport Facility for this latest festival after a great six weeks of coaching.”

Councillor Barry McCulloch, chair of NL Leisure, said:“We want to encourage kids to lead a healthy and active lifestyle and football is a great way for boys and girls to keep fit, have fun and make new friends.

“We offer loads of activities and classes for young people in our sports centres across North Lanarkshire for everyone to enjoy.”

NL Leisure runs soccer schools at Airdrie Leisure Centre, Kirkwood Sports Barn, Ravenscraig, Broadwood and St Ambrose HS.
