- Andrea O’Neill

After the huge success of last year’s event, Stereofunk returns to Strathclyde Park.

Scotland’s first festival of the summer is almost upon us and we have teamed up with the organisers to bring you yet another great competition. We have FIVE pairs of VIP tickets to give away to Stereofunk on April 30. Back for its ninth year, over 80 DJs and 15 live bands will perform across five arenas. Revellers will be entertained by some of the world’s best international dance acts, supported by Scotland’s top DJ’s and the freshest bands Scotland has to offer. Headlining the bill are: The Time Frequency, Ian Van Dahl, N-Trance, GBX, Dream Frequency, Sosumi, Griff, Vida, Jim Gellatly, Jamie and Shoony, Indigo Velvet, Mickey 9’s, The Banter Thiefs, Vladimir and Stevie Lennon.

New music guru Jim Gellatley is back for a third year to headline the live band stage named after him.

After creating the ultimate climax to the festival last year, the most successful Scottish dance act are back to take things to another level.

With seven number one singles in the dance charts and a brand new album forthcoming in the summer, The Time Frequency are sure to bring the main stage to a close in the only way they can.

With clubland anthems like Will I, Castles In The Sky, Reason and Try, Ian Van Dahl is definitely an international dance act not to be missed. And heading up the Old Skool Arena is an act who have been at the forefront of dance music for over 20 years – legendary 90s dance group N-Trance. Clyde 1’s George Bowie will also rock the Old Skool Arena to its core with his GBX dance anthems.

VIPs can expect Moet & Chandon, a cocktail bar, and some sexy sounds of deep house, not forgetting their very own porcelain thrones in the Red Square VIP arena.

Whatever you are into, it is sure to be a day of quality, unpretentious, cutting edge music and an intimate festival vibe that is second to none. There really is something for everyone with over 10 hours of partying. The summer starts here!
