CAB given grant help

Coatbridge Citizens Advice Bureau received a grant from The Trusthouse Charitable Foundation.

The £ 5269 award will go towards providing a new advice support manager.

The new role is responsible for managing the organisation’s general advice service and training, as well as supporting advisers and providing advice.

Manager Marian Tobin said: “This award could not have come at a better time due to considerable funding cuts made to the bureau by our local authority in the last six months.

“We still need to seek out further funding as many of our clients on benefits are extremely vulnerable and need our support”.
