School new starts

“Corp”a load of this excited little bunch of new starts from a Calderbank school in 1990.

Showcased in our picture from October 5 of that year are the small intake of P1 pupils at Corpus Christi Primary.

Taking the register would not have been a hugely testing task for their class teachers as only 14 youngsters started.

A Corpus Christi spokesperson said:“The children are doing really well since they started and have been a credit to themselves, their parents and their new school.”
