Images of your bonny kids can scoop prizes

The search for Monklands’ cutest kids is off and running.

The Advertiser wants to hear from proud parents, eager to share pictures of their gorgeous youngsters with our army of readers.

All you have to do is send us a picture of your little treasure and we’ll publish it in a fabulous supplement that you will be able to share with family and friends.

There will be some great prizes too for the winners in our competition.

The successful entry from each category will enjoy a photoshoot with local business Koosh Photography, as well as a 30x20inch canvas worth £230.

And there are three categories to make things easy: zero to nine months, nine to 18 months, and 18 months to three years.

Advertiser editor Graham Miller revealed he is delighted to launch the competition.

“It’s great to get such a brilliant competition off and running,” he said.

“All of the Advertiser team are looking forward to Cute Kids, and we know our readers will love it too, either as families who are entering or as voters of the cute kid of their choice.

“It’s all a bit of old- fashioned fun, and I know we’ll have great winners.

“It’s sure to be a keenly-contested competition and I hope as many people as possible get involved and help make Cute Kids a huge success.”

The bright and talented children at Stepping Stones Nursery School kindly helped us launch our Cute Kids competition and were all smiles for Advertiser photographer Tom Dick during his visit to the Airdrie nursery.
