The Advertiser’s Cute Kids competition is off to a blistering start – with dozens of outstanding entries supplied by proud Monklands parents in its first week.

Readers still have two weeks to submit images of their tiny treasures and be in with a chance of winning a photoshoot with local business Koosh Photography and a 30x20-inch canvas worth £230.

This top prize will go to the winners of each of our three categories – zero to nine months, nine to 18 months, and 18 months to three years – and we are delighted to feature a small sample of some of the cracking photos submitted thus far.

Beautiful bouncing baby Liam Smith was all smiles in the zero to nine months category, little blue-eyed cutie Ava-Rose McGuigan – of the nine to 18 months category – was far from camera shy and 18 months to three years entrant Caelan Price was a picture of unbridled joy sporting his cool haircut.
