The wedding of Bryan Blackhall and Nicola Rooney
ThecoupleThecouple Bryan Blackhall, from Airdire, and Nicola Rooney, from Coatbridge, are both self-employed property developers. Where they met The couple met after a night out in Coatbridge over 10 years ago and have been inseparable ever since. The wedding The wedding took place in Crossbasket Castle, High Blantyre, and was attended by 90 close friends and family. This was followed by a reception in the same venue, where a further 40 guests joined the couple to dance the night away and celebrate their big day. Attire The bride wore a beautiful gown designed by Reeta Fashions, Glasgow, while the groom wore the Grey Douglas tartan from Braveheart Kilts, Coatdyke. Bridal party Nicola’s bridesmaids were her sisters Bhrona Halloun and Michelle Beveridge, while whileflowergirlwasnieceNicolaHallounflower girl was niece Nicola Halloun and page boy was Bryan’s nephew Kaiden. Bryan’s best man was his best friend Barry Lynn and the ushers were his son Reiss, brother John and Nicola’s brother Frankie. Honeymoon The couple are planning a trip to Benalmadena in the Costa del Sol, Spain, in late summer. Photography The photographer was Martin Ward Photography, Perth. Flowers The flowers were arranged by Busy Lizzies, Airdrie. Cake The cake was from Special Day Cakes, Glasgow.
