Four Isles events A boxing club for people aged eight and over runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the Fours Isles Community Centre from 6pm to 8pm. The venue also hosts an over-50s group on Mondays from noon to 2pm, a toddlers’ group for kids from birth to three years on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am until noon and prize bingo on Tuesday nights from 7pm to 9pm. A monthly meeting by group Touched by Suicide now takes place in the centre, with the next session being held on Wednesday, July 19, at 7pm; for more, call Linda on 01294 274273.

Dog obedience classes are held every Thursday in the Four Isles community centre, with a beginners’ session from 7pm to 8pm and an advanced class between 8pm and 9pm; for more, call Billy on 07516 894594.
