Team Tony have bold new menu to match bold new restaurant
East Kilbride has always had a special place in the hearts of the Tony Macaroni team.
You see, East Kilbride was where the first restaurant was opened in Scotland by Tony and now, almost 10 years later, Tony Macaroni East Kilbride has moved to a brand new location in the town.
Taking over The Byre, Tony Macaroni realised they wanted to expand the restaurant which now boasts a function suite, proving again that the team is committed to being at the heart of the East Kilbride community.
The stunning function suite can hold up to 48 people to enjoy landmark life events in the stunning setting of Tony Macaroni.
You could host the ultimate Italian dinner party for your family or friends in the privacy of the function suite.
General manager Fabio Quintiliani is thrilled to see the newly refurbished Tony Macaroni restaurant in its new home.
“It was time to move into a bigger restaurant and we are thrilled with our new-look Tony Macaroni,” beamed Fabio.
“We have also launched a brand new menu this week and we have been working closely with Italian celebrity chef Fabio Campoli.
“He has helped us create some stunning Italian dishes and our chefs, led by Michele Costa, have enjoyed working with him.”
A renowned celebrity chef, famed for creating gourmet dishes in his laboratory kitchen, Fabio is Italy’s answer to Heston Blumenthal.
His partnership with Tony Macaroni is Fabio’s first in the UK and he has been working with the restaurant group to bring truly authentic Italian dishes to Scotland.
For over 15 years, Fabio has been one of Italy’s most well-respected chefs. Fabio said: “In Italy, my team and I specialise in helping eminent food brands enhance their products.
“Our partnership with Tony Macaroni will enable us to take an already great menu and make it exceptional and I cannot wait to see how the people of Scotland react to our new dishes.”
Also returning to the menu is the pollo burger, a breaded chicken breast burger topped with fresh tomato and salad.
We also have a fantastic Menu Presto available Monday to Friday from £4.95; Sunday Presto from £6.95 and of course, our tempting desserts and Nardini’s Ice Cream Sundaes.
Tony Macaroni’s ethos is fresh Italian food prepared for you by the team of expert chefs - come and try one of Fabio’s new favourites – Mezze Rigatoni con Salsiccia e Finocchio, short pasta tubes in a delicious fennel puree with a touch of cream and garlic finished with parmesan, orange peel and dill.
Being part of the East Kilbride community is important to the Tony Macaroni family. General manager Fabio added: “We are proud to be part of the East Kilbride community and throughout our new restaurant being built we worked in partnership with local contractors, we are at the heart of the town.”
