Cute kids competition

Check out the little crackers you voted for

- Jean Ward

The votes have been counted, checked and verified and we are delighted to announce that you have chosen little crackers Murray Montgomery, Dylan Nayles and Delilah Horton as our Cute Kids winners of 2017.

Advertiser readers responded enthusiastically to our competition, firstly with scores of wonderful snaps of your little bundles of joy, and then with hundreds of voting vouchers cut out and sent in to our office.

Every beautiful bouncing baby and tremendous toddler who was entered was a little ray of sunshine, with Murray, Dylan and Delilah worthy winners in our three categories.

Now each of our top trio will receive a stunning hand-finished canvas wrap, courtesy of Koosh Photography, to hang on their proud parents’ wall.

Glenboig baby boy Murray Montgomery took the title in the zero to nine months category. And proud mum Nicola Reid beamed: “I’m over the moon. There were lots of gorgeous babies in the running, so I’m thrilled that Murray has won.

“I can’t believe it. I’m really delighted and looking forward to seeing his canvas wrap.”

Meanwhile, readers chose Salsburgh youngster Dylan Nayles as the cutest kid in the nine to 18 months category. His gran Caron Anderson gushed: “I’m absolutely delighted that Dylan has won in his category.

“All the family are thrilled at the result. He’s our little cracker.”

And finally Airdrie toddler Delilah Horton came out top in the nine to 18 months category.

Her delighted mum Chelsea Young enthused: “I’m so happy that Delilah received so many votes.

“I’ve never won anything before, so I’m really proud of her.”

The Advertiser would like to thank everyone who sent in pictures of their little loved ones and also those who took time to vote – and especially the youngsters who brightened our day!

Thanks also to Koosh Photography for providing our prizes and to our sponsor Penny Cars.
