Remembrance service details

Airdrie will stage this year’s main Remembrance service on Sunday, November 12.

Tributes will be paid to those who made the ultimate sacrifice at the 11am ceremony at the war memorial.

Ex- servicemen and women, local service units and uniformed organisations are all being invited to participate in the Remembrance Day parade.

It will assemble in the car park at Louden Street/ Manse Place at 10.10am, and will march off at 10.25am towards the war memorial.

Wreaths will then be laid during the ceremony by veterans, dignitaries and representatives of local organisations.
