Four Isles community centre hosts a boxing club for those aged eight and over, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6pm to 8pm. Other events taking place at the venue each week are – Mondays: over-50s group from 12 noon to 2pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays: toddlers’ group for kids from birth to three years, from 10am to 12 noon: Tuesdays: prize bingo from 7pm to 9pm. A monthly meeting of the group Touched by Suicide takes place in the centre, with the next being held on Wednesday, November 15, at 7pm; for more details, call Linda on 01294 274273.

Dog obedience classes are held every Thursday in the Four Isles community centre. A beginners’ session takes place from 7pm to 8pm and an advanced class from 8pm to 9pm; for more information, call Billy on 07516 894594.
