Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser Youngsters support Readers’ Room appeal 2017-11-01 - To mark the launch of our Readers‘ Room appeal for St Andrew’s Hospice – aiming to fund the construction of one of its new rooms – the Advertiser visited the pupils of Glengowan Primary who have nominated the hospice as their chosen charity. Alyssa Lafferty said: “It’s great for the school to be doing something for the hospice appeal.” Euan Pitt agreed: “I think it’s a really good thing and is going to help lots of people.” Sarah Brodie said: “I’m happy that the school is involved; it’s good for the community.” Preston Gillooly said: “I think it’s so important for people to support the hospice appeal.”
